Personality: A bit stubborn at times, and seems very reserved. he gets thingyy when threatened, and does not always show his real emotions. if you manage to get past his rather fierce exterior, you can be sure you have a real friend for life.
Appearance: Jackal. Sandy brown, with a black back. White underbelly, and paws are gray. Dark brown almond shaped eyes are set on a long pointed snout.
History: Tethys came from the deserts of Egypt, where he roamed without any real company. He lived mainly off of a scattered oasis, but before even that, he was guardian of a Tomb in the Pyramid, much like Anubis. He learned to avoid scorpions, and which food he could eat, given his harsh environment.

IC: Dusk had fallen early that night, plunging the harsh desert climate to a stunning fifteen degrees. The black sky was flecked with millions of stars, twinkling and dancing an ancient dance. A dog-like constellation faded ever so slowly into the night sky, the constellation of the Egyptian Anubis, guardian of the ancient Tombs. Above the brow of a hill, sand crumbled and sld down the dune, and at the top, a wild dog creature stood, just below the paw of the similar star formation. The moonlight flooded down on his back, his muscles ripling under the tanish pelt. He gazed out over the desert with deep almond shaped eyes, taking in every scent on the warm desert breeze, studying every shift of glowing sand. Then he stepped daintily down the sand dune to it's bottom and stood still, pointed ears pricked, nostrils flared. Afar, on the horizon, the sand stopped and thick trees rose, and the breeze carried the scent of many wild and undiscovered places. And many other animals. The jackal stiffened, then broke into a smooth, ground eating lope, heading toward the sight in the distance. Tannish legs ran swiftly accross the slithering sand, and the black tail streamed out behind the running dog. Tethys was off on another adventure.
