Personality: Zende is a very reliable friend, although he is very quiet so it is hard to penetrate his mysterious exterior and reach his more understanding side. He is not shy, not at all, but he feels as if there is no need for him to speak most of the time (he doesn't value his opinions, therefore he keeps them quiet). Zende is a very strong-willed wolf when he needs to be however; when it is necessary he will stand his ground against anyone. You never know what Zende is thinking about; besides the fact that he is very quiet, his face shows no emotion most of the time. Only in moments of extreme sorrow or pain does his features betray what he is truly feeling.
Appearance: Zende is a red wolf, with a deep russet coat and a thick 'mane' of crimson fur around his throat. Streaked occasionally on his pelt is grey and black, mottling his coat mainly on his broad back and shoulders. His eyes are of deepest emerald and are flecked with gold; you could get lost in that gaze if you were held in it for long enough.
History: Zende was an outcast from a very young age; his parents were finding it hard to catch food for all three of them (he has no siblings). Bitterly and unhappily they left him in the wilderness one morning for him to find his own way in the world. Fortunately he did (he caught small voles and mice which sustained him at first, and eventually gained enough hunting skills to scrape through) and he grew up in that wilderness. Zendes' strength of character and determination is one of his best qualities now, and it was all because of a cruel cubhood in the cold wastes.

(I was thinking of giving up Kitaru, so this is a replacement. Kitaru might be given up in the next war; I haven't RPed him much and need to start afresh
