Leana's Tale

A black wolf walked through the forest, looking for something to eat. She was remembering her past as she did. Normally, Leana did not do this. Today was just one of those days. She sniffed the ground, and smelt the scent of foxes. They were far away from her though. Leana started to remember her childhood.

Leana's Story: A black pup was born five years ago. She was the oldest of the litter. Her mom had named her Mikala, which, in their wolven language, meant sunshine over the horizon. Mikala's mom wasn't caring of Mikala, though. Her mom's name was Kirana. Kirana abused the poor pup because she was the only black one. Mikala loved to explore, and got lost a lot. Her mom finally had enogh of Mikala. A dark, rainy night was their last night together. Kirana left the pup alone that night. Kirana had just walked away with Mikala's brothers and sisters. Mikala realized her mom had abandoned her. She changed her name to Leana, which meant loner in their language. That's exactly what Leana was. Leana wandered around, meeting other wolves and such. She still searches for her one true home.

Leana sniffed the air again, and smelt a rabbit. She sneaked up on it, and caught it. Leana ate the little snack. She smelt the foxes and started to walk toward their scent. Maybe she could be accepted by them, maybe she could find her home.

How do I use avatars and signatures here?

Look up and there should be a little link that says 'profile' along with other links like 'home', 'help', 'search', 'members', and such. Click on it, and when you get there, go to 'modify my profile', once you get /there/ scroll down to the avatar URL thing, and the signature thing. (If you want an image as your siggy, put <IMG> url </IMG> but use [ and ]'s instead of < and >'s. ) And then scroll down and click 'modify profile' at the bottom.
