"I like to welcome you to the Lights, Moon! You're our first dog."
Northern Light welcomed the dog, a broad grin appearing on her face as her chestnut brown orbs did not left Moon. She loved to see new faces, turning her slim cranium to Chira as soon as she heard her voice. In contrast to Moon the first Lieutenant wasn't a new face. Totally not. And neither was Shadow, who was willing to be the Unofficial Medic until there was a real Medic. She knew Chira and Shadow a very long time already, it felt like yesterday when they first met. Light had taken the Lieutenant to the Medic. Now she knew how important they both were, the Lights couldn’t miss them. Never.

Shadow smiled at Moon. "Yes. We never have had a real dog join the Lights until now. And you both can train with us. I'm the trainer and unofficial medic of the Lights. Now you two wouldn't mind being partners with each other would you? We've all got to have partners so like, say we're going to do a practice fight, you need two people don't you?" she said grinning broadly.

"We'd love to!" Anaki and Moon said at the same time. This was great for them, for they had never really found themselves a home, until now. "Moon, do you think we should tell them now, or wait?" Anaki asked quietly.

Northern Light smiled satisfied, watching the two. The smile disappeared when she caught a few words of the question as she started to frown deeply. Her black tipped lobes perked at the two curiously, wondering what they meant. She just hoped it would be positive news, they already had been through enough negative things. Not that they couldn't handle it, they always found their way out everything, the Lights had this bond that was unbreakable, and the Light themselves were unstoppable. They never gave up. Suspiciously she sat down, wrapping her white tipped plumage around her body silently.
"Tell what?" She questioned.

"Umm, well, it is kinda a," she started to say then looked nervously at Moon. Moon gestured for Anaki to go on and that they couldn't kick her out for whatever it was. "Well, see, it is about my parents..." she started to explain.

"Yes...?"
Northern Light questioned, waiting to tell them more about the story. She was getting curious now as she lifted her eyebrows patiently. Her lobes twitched for a second, flattening onto her slim skull now: hidden in her shaggy neck. Maybe she didn't even want to hear this. But she already asked for an answer, all she could do now is wait.

"I don't know if you know, but on a cotinent somewhere, I don't know what continent, there was a war going on. It was just like this, with the Lights and the Darks. My parents were the best spies in the business. They were DarkSunset and PiercingWind..." she began. Then a worried look appeared, "But they were Darks, not Lights. They got killed one day," she stopped as she saw it in her mind.

Chira tilted her head, a look of sorrow crossing her elegant features. Hearing the stories brought her own memories into focus, her earliest flashbacks starting to play in a continuous loop. Her chestnut orbs glazed over like pools in winter as she remembered her mother and father; the short time where her father taught her to walk before he disappeared, blissful warm days where she and her mother watched the lands from the highest peaks, bounding through the winter snows in the brightest times of her cubhood. As she snapped back to reality, a small tear collected in the corner of her eye, yet she moved on swiftly and with silence keeping her muzzle tightly closed.

Shadow's grin faded, leaving a worried look on her face. "Yo-You mean, you-you've got Dark blood in you?" she whispered, biting her lip. She gulped and looked at Light and Chira, and nodded for them to come back behind a bush with her. Once they were all there, Shadow whispered to both of them, making sure that Anaki and Moon were out of earshot, "Should we let them join? Afterall, it was just Anaki's parents that were Darks. It doesn't mean Anaki and Moon are. Light, lets let them join but keep an eye on them."

' I agree, we should let them join. Just because their parents were Darks, that doesn't mean that they will follow in their pawsteps. Although, we should watch them for a while anyway, until we can trust them,' Chira whispered, the small tear dropping from her cheek and leaving the tiniest pool on the ground. Looking to Shadow and Light, her maw trembled as she tried to hold back tears. The memory of her childhood had been unearthed, and was not going to disappear so quickly.

The same happened to Northern Light as to shadow; the grin on her slim face disappeared like snow for the sun. Little ghosts seemed to tease her mind; what if they were betrayers? What if they would decide to follow the same path as their parents did, and work as some sort of spy? She frowned deeply, glancing at the two Lights suspiciously, black tipped lobes twitching for a second. Quietly she let out a sigh, looking to the Lieutenant and the Trainer/Unofficial Medic for a second to hear their suggestions. Then she turned her gaze –slowly- to the two newcomers again. She tried to grin, even if it was sheepishly.
"Welcome to the Lights."

Shadow broke off in midsentence, looking at the two newcomers. "Um, yeah. Welcome to the Lights," she said, nodding her head frantically.

"Keep an eye on them, Shadow. Maybe they're up to no good."
Northern Light whispered the Trainer's direction, almost not hearable: just in case the two newcomers would catch up any word from it. She was quite unsure about this; how could their parents both be Dark and they Lights? If Northern Light would have Dark parents she would have followed their footsteps. Others would honor them. And if they didn’t, she would let them. They had to. Maybe some just had a worse past then Light had; and she respected that.

"Yes ma'am," Shadow whispered back, eyeing the two newcomers.

Chira merely bowed silently and raised her gaze to Anaki and Moon, her orbs shimmering like chocolate-brown marbles in the low light. She did not feel so cautious of them, but would still focus on their actions for the time being.

Anaki looked at them, sensing that they didn't completely trust her, and started getting tears in her eyes. "Why can't people look beyond my parents wrong choices and see I am different than them. Why can't people believe me! I would never betray you!" she yelled and ran, far from those foxes. Moon stayed back and explained, "Guys, you'll have to excuse her. I understand that you don't trust us, but we will prove our worth."

“I understand she is upset, but we can't be carefull enough. I won't excuse. We're Warriors, not babysitters, Private Moon.”
The words were harsh, maybe some might have thought they weren't even true, but Northern Light didn't showed emotions on this. She knew it wasn't a nice thing to do, they could also have brought it another way, but they simply didn't. It was history now, they couldn't change it anymore. There was no reverse button, neither was there a delete one.

"Anaki, we didn't mean it like that! We just want to make sure nothing is going to happen. If the war wasn't about to start, we would just ignore it. But now we have to be extra careful," she yelled, running after the fox.

'We didn't mean to insult you! The war has just made us nervous, we dont mean these things!' Chira feebly explained as she raced off after Shadow. Genuine concern surfaced in her chestnut pools as her ebony paws pounded the ground, propelling her after the hurt Anaki.

Northern Light glanced at the two foxes. She shook her head slightly. They were so good. Too good, perhaps? Pure Lights. She was sure that if they would be ever forced to join the Darks they would rather die. Both of them; that was why these two were so important to her. A deep sigh escaped through her nostrils, as she rubbed her head tiredly. She looked up at Moon, words were not necessesary. She didn't had anything more to tell. Light was sure she got the hint now; they didn't meant it like that.
